I am very happy to announce the release of Hi Mulan, a project created for Écheveau Solidaire. All the profits of the first 3 months from this pattern will be donated to MASFD association to fight fibrous dysplasia through the Echeveau Solidaire Challenge. I thank you in advance for your help!

Histoire of Mulan

Mulan is the name of a girl in a Chinese poem. You may know her thanks to the Disney movie. In the poem, Mulan disguises herself as a man to take the place of her father too old in the army. Twelve years after her return and the victory, his comrades discover his true identity.

She is a courageous, voluntary, respectful girl. This is the image that I want to give to all sick children, who fight on a daily basis.

Little word on the pattern

To return to the pattern, Hi Mulan is a cardigan with a pretty lace on the lower body and sleeves, feminine and lightweight, easy to wear essential for spring. As usual, it is knitted from top to bottom seamlessly.

The yarn used

It’s a new base from Heidi Idea, a fingring yarn, 365 meters per 100 grams, 85% merino, 20% nylon and 5% cashmere. I wanted a soft color to accompany the lace, Stephanie kindly offered me this color Litchi that I love. It is a very soft yarn given its composition, pleasant to knit.

Heidi Idea gives 3 euros to Écheveau Solidaire for each sold skein of the MCN range for the month of April. I invite you to discover her beautiful yarns!
