Shinan is a seamless top down sweater with a lace pattern on the body. It is possible to knit it with the rest of the yarns for the body and sleeves.

MATERIAL
Yarn: approximately 250 (280, 310, 340)(370, 420, 460) meters or 273 (306, 339, 372)(405, 459, 503) yards of Worsted weight yarn for C1, approximately 270 (300, 340, 370)(400, 450, 500) meters or 295 (328, 372, 405)(437, 492, 550) yards for C2, approximately 300 (330, 370, 410)(430, 500, 550) meters or 328 (361, 405, 448)(470, 547, 601) yards for C3.
The sample is knitted with Cardo (100% Corriedale wool, Bulky, 100m/100g, colourway: Putty) of Manos del Uruguay.
Needles: 4mm/US6 and 3.5mm/US4 circular needles. Adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
Other: stitch markers, tapestry needle, stitch holders or waste yarn.

GAUGE
With 4mm/US6 needles, 19 sts and 28 rows = 10 cm/4’’ in stockinette stitch, washed and blocked.
